FAQ for you!
This little blog is almost six months old, so I decided to answer seven of the questions I've been asked most. Is something missing from here that you're wondering about? Mouth off in a comment. ♥
Wanna trade links? I'll add you to my blogroll if you add me to yours! I only add bloggers to my roll if they're truly favorites of mine. I'm not on all of their lists and I don't expect them to add me; it's all about personal preference!
Why would you quit your full-time job with steady hours and benefits to work part-time in retail and blog for free? Simply put, money can't buy happiness. I'm now able to spend time focusing on what I'm passionate about -- writing, fashion, photography, and personal relationships. I may struggle financially sometimes, but I truly believe that when one does what she loves, the money will come! It's all about patience and practice.
Why are you a vegetarian? My blog isn't about vegetarianism, so I choose not to discuss it. I only mention my diet when it's relevant to the post, such as a recipe or restaurant experience. If you're curious, feel free to e-mail me!
How do you get your hair to look like that? My hair looks messy because, well, it is! I don't do anything special to it. My daddy had hair just as long, thick and wavy back in the day and he passed it down to me -- though he probably took better care of his...
Where did you get that clothing/accessory item you're wearing? I almost always mention the details of my outfits, but when I don't, it's either from Ann Taylor -- 3/4 of my wardrobe is -- or I don't remember where I got it.
Why do your photos look like crap? Okay, so no one's ever asked me this but I feel like it's coming at some point. I use a Nikon D40x, which I love! However, I'm still learning how to use it and my photos won't be perfect. Sometimes I edit them using Irfanview because I can't afford Photoshop, though my 2005 Acer laptop probably couldn't run with the program anyway. Don't judge me!
Where is your Google Friend Connect widget? I removed it, but you can still follow me via Google by clicking the link on my sidebar. I felt like it was a very competitive thing because the amount of followers was right there for all to see -- and I want my blog to be a happy, uplifting and equal place!
