Look : : Final Day of Fun (MDFW)

My mom & I wanted to spend as much time outside as possible during her last day in town, but before heading out, she made us a delicious fruit & nut salad. Then we went to the Sepulveda Wildlife Reserve for a short walk. After snapping a few photos, we headed to the beach! We went to Hermosa, my personal favorite... it has a homey, laid-back feel with lots of little shops. We picked up cute hippie headbands at Yak & Yeti, then hunted for Mexican food on the pier! Cantina Real had the best margarita I've ever tasted, and when I asked for my burrito spicy enough for my nose to run, they delivered. Who wants to go back with me?

On myself: Top - Buffalo Exchange. Jeans - AT. Shoes, ring - Target. Headband - Kohl's. Necklace - Forever 21. Sunnies - Sunglass Warehouse (also seen here). On Mrs. Loudmouth: Top - By Chaps, from Kohl's. Capris - By Denim & Co., from QVC. Shoes - By Champion, from Payless.

  1. Sounds like a wonderful day! The fruit and nut salad looks to die for and so does the burrito! So hard to find legit mexican deliciousness on the east coast!

  2. Yes please! I will definitely meet you there for a margarita and spicy food! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

  6. So much fun! Runny nose and all (okay, maybe not really). I would be the biggest killjoy with Mexican food, I have no tolerance for spicy. Anyway, love both of your looks here! Your mom's sunnies and your top - favorites, favorites. I need to learn how to make a fruit and nut salad like that, too, it looks amazing!

  7. Um, yum all these food photos are making me hungry!! I love the vintage inspired photos!
