Where I play dress-up...

Back in March, when Loudmouth Lounge was called Open House, I gave you a peek at my bedroom's little nook and a glimpse of my closet. Not much about it has changed between then and now, but after seeing Kaelah Bee's dream wardrobe I was inspired to show you a more in-depth look! (And by the way... she is having an awesome giveaway right now.)

Besides attempting to organize by color, there is no rhyme or reason to this madness. That black shopping bag has more clothes in it -- not recently shopped clothes, but things I couldn't fit anywhere else! I need to employ some tips from Casee & my favorite magazine, & I should switch out my hangers for matching ones! I'll show you the finished product if/when it happens... I'm so grateful for everything. ♥

  1. I love that you mentioned wanting matching hangers and I'm NOT the only one. When I married Kevin I refused to keep any of his hangers that didn't match mine. Selfish, right? :)

On one of your 'closet revealing' I could have sworn you mentioned being a little dissatisfied with how your closet looked and the first thing that popped into my mind was, "This girl just needs matching hangers." I hope that one day you will find them and they will make you as happy as they make me. :)

  2. Ooh la! I love. Superior job on the color organization, of course - isn't that fun? I find mine are starting to get a little confused because I'm lazy and don't always sort fresh laundry when I go to hang it back up. "Yellow...eh, close enough to brown."

And I'm coveting your shoe tree! My sister got one of those at Meijer (I think) recently and I thought it was the coolest thing. I've slowly started to incorporate thinner/matching hangers, too. I don't remember if I mentioned in my post because it may have been later that I saw them, but Real Simple makes very thin hangers that are designed to take up less space! They sell them at Bed Bath and Beyond.

Anyway, I'll stop now. Lovely seeing your closet, and thanks for the shout-out!

  4. I need one of those shoe trees. My closet is color coordinated too, but I have shirts separated from skirts separated from jackets separated from dresses.

  6. I love that you organized your clothes by color. I thought about doing that myself but I think I could go crazy not having them organized by style (dresses, shirts, cardigans, etc.) I really love the rainbowed look though!
