Look :: Purposely Nerdy

Outfit details: Cardigan, bracelet - Ann Taylor. Shoes - Target. Top - For sale in my shop here. Skirt - For sale in my shop here.

When I asked my new boss if we could wear skirts to work, she told me they have to touch our knees. She completely forgot, bless her heart, that she's 5'2" and I'm 5'8" on a flats day. Then I tested out this skirt, the one I'm selling. It's too loose on me, therefore sitting at my hips instead of my waist, making it -- voila! -- just long enough.

Needless to say, I was proud of myself for making this discovery, but still plan on purchasing a black pencil that fits properly. I'm thinking of perusing the tall section of Ann Taylor so that I can stay conservatively sexy. (Yes, it's possible.)

  11. The new midi length became trendy just in time then! I'm thankful that mini-shirts aren't the only length available these days, but it's still difficult to find skirts. I've found really nice black pencil skirts at White House Black Market, but I'm sure you can find them at Ann Taylor too.
