Look :: Beachside Shopping / San Diego

Outfit details: Dress - Modcloth. Tank, tights - AT. Shirt (worn as jacket) - UO (men's section). Shoes - Ross. Watch - Michael Kors.

My weekend in San Diego was wonderful. I drove down there -- almost a month ago now -- to meet Jessica for the first time! As it usually goes with fellow bloggers, we clicked right away and had tons in common. She's just as friendly and fun as her blog, and I swear she's the only person I've ever met who laughs more often than I do! It got beautifully loud between the two of us... :) I can't wait to go back, but for now, I'm sifting through the 862 photos from the trip and putting together a few posts. Jessica is such a great photographer -- and model, for that matter -- that it's hard to choose what to share.

On day one, we hung out at Imperial Beach, Seaport Village, and Gaslamp District for a little bit of shopping (and even more window-shopping). I'm obsessed with the architecture in SD -- the buildings are so pretty! By the way, Jessica has a beautiful home (complete with a funny hubby and adorable pups). I loved her backyard and the bonfire pit! She also has a dressing room I could play in for hours...

Some stores worth mentioning: Pinkzone (an even cheaper version of Forever 21), American Nostalgia (I scored a mood ring and Fun Dip), Upstart Crow (a cute bookshop), Urban Girl (the best little accessories and home decor pieces), and Bettie Page (gorgeous vintage-inspired pin-up dresses). Tomorrow's post, however, will be about the food.
