Life :: The Fun Stuff of 2012

Just a few things that happened last year: I traveled to Myrtle Beach, Santa Barbara, San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Michigan (twice). I moved (twice). I got promoted (twice). I went to Disneyland (many times). I celebrated my 25th birthday and made a 25 before 26 list. I became even better friends with Chris. I went to PowerHouse. I went to Pride. I got my first Mary Kay makeover. I went to my first Laker game. I was in a magazine for the first time. I was in my hometown's newspaper. My mom came to visit. My sister came to visit. My cousin came to visit. I celebrated my two-year blogiversary.

Despite the struggles of 2012, there were plenty of blessings to balance it all out. I got to do SO much that I could have only dreamed of before! I'm grateful for all of the opportunities I had, in my career and in blogging and in life. By the end of the year, I felt as if my hard work was finally paying off. I'm excited to see what 2013 brings, and I'll be posting my resolutions soon! Thanks again for your support!!

  7. My goodness, you did so much! I really feel like 2012 went by in a bit of a blur, and a lot of that blur looks like me sitting at my desk tapping away at my keyboard. You have a way of making every day an adventure and that really inspires me. With every travel and every celebration memories are created, and that's something I want to do more of in 2013. As far as the struggles we face with every year, I like to think of what Neil Gaiman says: "When you make mistakes it means you're out there doing something." With that attitude every struggle becomes a new strength, you know?

I hope your 2013 is a beautiful one - you deserve it!

  8. Even though 2012 wasn't my favorite year, there were some great things that happened. I think it's awesome that you jotted them all down. Can't wait to see what this year brings you!

  9. I WANNA DO A PHOTOSHOOT WITH YOU!!!! Whenever we get together (preferably in L.A. or somewhere we both haven't been, but I'd be happy to take you 'round NEOhio too)...we are going thrifting/shopping and getting wardrobe together for a super fun photo shoot!! Just sayin'.
